House Outlook
House Outlook is the go-to source for approachable, clever tips that make everyday life at home a little bit easier. With a focus on practical solutions and easy-to-implement ideas, House Outlook steers clear of big, complicated home renovation projects. Instead, it offers advice on organizing, decorating, and maintaining your living space in a way that's both simple and effective.
As lead designer, I developed the full brand identity for House Outlook, including the visual system, email templates, and supporting web design. Working closely with the creative team, I helped define the brand’s positioning and translated those insights into a clear, approachable design language tailored to an inbox-first experience. The result is a warm, dependable brand that helps readers navigate DIY and home projects with confidence, simplicity, and inspiration.

The logo system pairs clean geometry with warmth and softness, creating marks that feels trustworthy and approachable while remaining flexible and scalable across all touch points.

The identity system was designed to feel helpful rather than overwhelming for readers looking for practical home guidance. A warm, wood-inspired color palette evokes comfort and familiarity, while brighter accent colors and geometric shapes introduce moments of energy that reflect the brand’s crafty, solution-oriented spirit. Subtle grid patterns and line illustrations draw inspiration from blueprints, reinforcing the hands-on nature of DIY while keeping the overall system approachable and easy to navigate.

The email experience was designed to deliver rich, in-depth content around practical home hacks, through thoughtfully structured modules. A flexible template system supports sponsored and sales-driven content, helping the brand grow sustainably. The homepage extends this thinking with a scannable layout that surfaces key content and makes it easy for readers to explore.
